What is the minimum order quantity?
Our minimum order is typically 1 square meter (approximately 11 square feet). However, this may vary depending on the design complexity and specific product line. For custom designs, the minimum might be higher to ensure production efficiency. Contact us for specific requirements for your project.
How do I request a quote?
You can request a quote through our contact form or by emailing us directly at adm@barbottina.com. Please include the following information: the design(s) you're interested in, approximate quantity (square meters), tile size preferences, any customizations needed, your location for shipping estimates, and your project timeline.
How long does production take?
Standard orders typically take 3-4 weeks for production. Custom designs may require additional time depending on complexity—usually 4-6 weeks. Large orders or orders placed during peak seasons may also require extended production time. We'll provide you with an accurate timeline when you receive your quote.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
Since each order is handcrafted specifically for you, modifications or cancellations can only be accommodated before production begins. Once production has started, we cannot accept cancellations. Please contact us immediately if you need to make changes to your order.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide. International shipping costs and delivery times are calculated based on your location, order weight, and dimensions. We work with reliable freight carriers experienced in handling fragile ceramic products. International customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes in their country.
How are the tiles packaged for shipping?
We take extreme care in packaging our tiles. Each tile is individually wrapped in protective foam, placed in custom crates with additional padding, and secured on pallets for larger orders. Our packaging is designed to withstand the rigors of shipping and ensure your tiles arrive in perfect condition.
What if my tiles arrive damaged?
In the rare event that tiles arrive damaged, please document the damage with photos and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We recommend inspecting your shipment before signing for it. All shipments are insured, and we will work with you to replace any damaged tiles at no additional cost.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes! Local pickup is available at our showroom in Monterrey, Mexico. This option helps you save on shipping costs. We'll notify you when your order is ready for pickup, and our team will help you load your tiles safely.
Are your tiles suitable for outdoor use?
Most of our tiles are designed for indoor use. However, we do have specific collections suitable for covered outdoor areas. For fully exposed outdoor applications, please consult with us about your climate conditions so we can recommend the best options. Proper sealing may be required for outdoor installations.
How do I clean and maintain ceramic tiles?
Our ceramic tiles are easy to maintain. For regular cleaning, simply use a damp mop or cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the glaze. For deeper cleaning, use a pH-neutral tile cleaner. Grout lines should be sealed annually to prevent staining.
Are your tiles food-safe / oven-safe?
Yes! Our glazes are lead-free and food-safe, making them perfect for kitchen backsplashes and countertops. Many of our products are also oven-safe, which is why they're popular for pizza ovens and outdoor cooking areas. Check individual product specifications or ask us about specific applications.
What tile sizes are available?
We offer a variety of standard sizes including 10x10cm, 15x15cm, 20x20cm, and 30x30cm. Custom sizes are available upon request. The available sizes may vary by design, so please check individual product pages or contact us with your specific requirements.
Can I create a completely custom design?
Absolutely! We love custom projects. You can share your own designs, artwork, logos, or inspiration images, and our team will work with you to create unique tiles. Custom design fees may apply depending on complexity. The minimum order for fully custom designs is typically higher than standard products.
Can I customize colors on existing designs?
Yes! Most of our designs can be customized with different color combinations. We have an extensive palette of glazes to choose from. Share your preferred colors or send us a reference (Pantone, paint chip, fabric sample) and we'll match as closely as possible. Color matching services may have additional costs.
Can I order samples before placing a full order?
Yes! We strongly recommend ordering samples to see the colors, textures, and quality in person before committing to a full order. Sample fees vary by product and are typically credited toward your final order if you proceed. Custom design samples may take additional time to produce.
